As one of Atlantic Canada’s leading business immigration lawyers, Andrea understands the challenges ever-changing immigration policies and regulations present to employers. She works with clients to develop and implement strategies to bring skilled workers to Canada in a timely and compliant manner. Her clients can be found in industries such as forestry, manufacturing, heavy civil construction, hospitality, health care, post-secondary institutions, IT and seafood harvesting and processing.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Skilled labour shortages are a common challenge facing Andrea’s clients. Some of the ways Andrea has helped her clients overcome this challenge include:

Assisting a natural resource company to develop a corporate immigration policy and processes for international recruitment and for the cross-border movement of personnel.
Advising a multi-national IT firm on immigration strategies to transfer specialized knowledge workers to Canada from other regions of the world.
Acting for regional, national and international companies in the relocation and retention of foreign workers.
