As one of Atlantic Canada’s leading business immigration lawyers, Andrea understands the challenges ever-changing immigration policies and regulations present to employers. She works with clients to develop and implement strategies to bring skilled workers to Canada in a timely and compliant manner. Her clients can be found in industries such as forestry, manufacturing, heavy civil construction, hospitality, health care, post-secondary institutions, IT and seafood harvesting and processing.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Skilled labour shortages are a common challenge facing Andrea’s clients. Some of the ways Andrea has helped her clients overcome this challenge include:
  • Assisting a natural resource company to develop a corporate immigration policy and processes for international recruitment and for the cross-border movement of personnel.
  • Advising a multi-national IT firm on immigration strategies to transfer specialized knowledge workers to Canada from other regions of the world.
  • Acting for regional, national and international companies in the relocation and retention of foreign workers.
