A particular strength of Josie’s is her ability to identify creative solutions to novel and complex issues. Her strong analytical abilities and research skills allow her to identify straight-forward, simple solutions whenever possible. Josie is also highly pragmatic, which ensures that any solutions identified are practical and effective in light of the client’s situation.

Representative matters

In her civil litigation practice, Josie is often involved in litigation files which raise new legal issues or which present complex fact scenarios. In her immigration practice, she has worked with clients on issues surrounding permanent residency, family sponsorships, humanitarian and compassionate applications, refugee claims, and immigration appeals.
