Kimberly Bungay

Corporate Staff Lawyer

“It’s a bad day when you don’t learn something.”

Knowing where the hiccups lie.

With close to 25 years of experience practicing law, Kimberly is well aware of the issues that can arise when trying to resolve a legal matter. That’s why she advises her clients about the probable timelines involved in each step of the transaction, the possible pitfalls, areas where difficulties and complications can arise and how those pitfalls and complications can be avoided.

Representative matters

For clients facing corporate and commercial issues, Kimberly has established a reputation as a go-to lawyer, so much so that her clients include lawyers and paralegals from other law firms across Canada and the U.S., in addition to her work with Stewart McKelvey clients. Some of the ways she has helped her clients include:
  • Acting for a client in a large, multi-company amalgamation.
  • Acting for clients in many imports, exports, amalgamations and incorporations, and surrenders of certificates of incorporation.
  • Acting for clients in obtaining name clearances at the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies and the federal Corporations Directorate.
  • Acting for clients in corporate wind-ups.
