As a litigator, Levi’s clients come to him when they are involved in a dispute that needs efficient resolution. Levi applies his 40 years of litigation expertise to aggressively pursue the just, least expensive and most expeditious solution in favour of the client.
Representative matters
Levi works with clients both big and small on a wide variety of legal issues. His cases have caused him to be interviewed by Barbara Frum on “As It Happens”, and to appear on the “Fifth Estate”. Examples of his work include:
- Successfully defending in the Supreme Court of Canada CPR’s title over a First Nations Reserve.
- Successfully prosecuting price fixing allegations against two giant multinationals on behalf of the New Brunswick government.
- Successfully recovering a judgement for damages against CNR on behalf of a boy from a low income family who was seriously injured in a Public Crossing accident.
- Successfully defending over a ten year period a series of Court challenges to the Budworm Spray Program of the New Brunswick government.
- Representing the Province of Prince Edward Island in a Federal Court challenge to the building of the Confederation Bridge (‘Fixed Link’).
