An experienced corporate and commercial lawyer with an emphasis on banking, insolvency law and financial restructuring, Robbie balances a busy practice with a healthy dose of volunteer work. Chair of the Law Foundation of Nova Scotia, past president of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, past chair of the Canadian Bar Association (NS) and a Fellow of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, Robbie is this year’s recipient of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society Distinguished Service Award. He was also named “Halifax Best Lawyers Insolvency and Financial Restructuring Lawyer of the Year” for 2011.
