It is getting more and more complex to run a business these days. Rebecca’s clients are finding government regulators – such as occupational health and safety, human rights and employment standards – continue to make day-to-day operations increasingly challenging. Through understanding the legal issues and the business of her clients, Rebecca is able to develop strategies and solutions that solve the problems they face.

Representative matters

Rebecca’s diverse client base includes non-profits, sole proprietors and large national companies. Some of the ways she has helped her clients are by:
  • Serving as lead investigator on numerous workplace investigations relating to fraud, sexual harassment and bullying.
  • Acting for an administrative decision-maker in a bad faith claim.
  • Negotiating a settlement in a complex employment dispute involving a breach of employment contract.
  • Acting for employers during union campaigns.
  • Representing employers following a workplace fatality, including advising on the accident report, dealing with the inspector and responding to charges.
