A holistic approach.
When Todd works with a client, he invests more than just time in the project. He’s an active participant who considers his clients’ problems to be his problems. Todd applies this dedication to his diverse client base which includes medium and large-sized retailers, technology companies, non-profit organizations, registered charities, heavy industry and individuals.
Representative matters
Balancing, managing and pricing risk is a challenge many of Todd’s clients face. This creates a need for certainty and clarity in agreements, which Todd achieves by providing concise and clear language for agreements and organizational documents, and constant attention to detail. Some of the ways he has done this are by:
- Advising an industrial company on the interpretation of contractual language in a series of service supply agreements.
- Advising a technology company on allocation of maintenance responsibilities under a series of rights of use contracts.
- Drafting articles and bylaws for incorporated entities.
- Preparing agreements and other required documentation for private capital placement transactions.
- Preparing legal opinions to facilitate commercial lending and investment transactions
- Drafting language for an easement agreement in a residential property matter.
Areas of practice:
- Corporate/Commercial
- Securities/Corporate Finance
