Stewart McKelvey is pleased to congratulate our Halifax partner, D. Geoffrey Machum, Q.C., one of three lawyers from across Canada to be invited this year to join as a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers.
Geoff joins three other Stewart McKelvey partners, Arthur Barry, Q.C., Ken McCullogh, Q.C., and Mick Ryan Q.C., in the college. Election as a Fellow is a privilege and an honour of the highest recognition by one's colleagues for a sustained outstanding performance in the profession of construction law.
Eligibility is based on a Fellow’s ability to demonstrate the highest ethical and professional standards of practice in construction law, while maintaining a significant and outstanding continuous full-time practice or teaching in the area over a 10-year period.
Geoff will be inducted to the college during the 16th Annual Meeting of the College later this spring in Montreal, Q.C. The College’s current installation is represented by 80 members across Canada.
Congratulations Geoff on this great honour.
