Stewart McKelvey’s Chief Executive Officer, John Rogers, Q.C., has been appointed to the Board of Governors at Acadia University.

“I am extremely pleased to be joining the Board of such a well-respected institution that is focused on educating and inspiring the next generation,” said Rogers. “Acadia University has a deserving reputation as one of Canada’s outstanding primarily undergraduate universities.”

Rogers is also a Director of the Halifax 2011 Canada Winter Games Host Society; Chair of the Board of Directors of the IWK Health Centre; and Director of the Junior Achievement of Canada Foundation.

The Board of Governors at Acadia University is the senior governing body of the University. Comprised of 37 members, the Board ensures that the best interests of the University are served and that Acadia’s reputation for academic excellence is maintained.
