In an article appearing in the August 16th issue of Lawyers Weekly, entitled New Nova Scotia law makes cyberbullying a tort, Halifax-based partner Karen Bennett-Clayton discusses vicarious liability. According to the new tort, not only can minors under the age of 19 who cyberbully be held liable for their actions, their parents can be held accountable as well.
