Our partners Andrew Fraser and Geoff Machum, Q.C. are actively involved in the business community. Andrew was invited to join ConnectNS, a group of Nova Scotia business leaders with the goal of growing Nova Scotia’s economy by attracting new direct investment and trade development. Andrew has also served on Dalhousie alumni board, and the boards of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia and the Canadian Paraplegic Association (Nova Scotia).
Geoff was recently reappointed to the Halifax Port Authority where he continues as chair of its board of directors. Geoff also serves on the board of Symphony Nova Scotia, where he chairs the governance committee, as well as on the board of governors of the Halifax Grammar School. He has also enjoyed involvement with the United Way Leadership Campaign and the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia. Andrew and Geoff‘s practices include a focus on commercial litigation and strategic advice to our clients.
