Stewart McKelvey, the first and largest regional law firm in Atlantic Canada, has announced that it has begun its search for candidates to fill the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The person assuming the position of CEO will be expected to establish direction, gain alignment and commitment, ensure execution and set a personal example for the firm’s team of lawyers and staff. The role will also include leading the work of Stewart McKelvey’s Management Team, which includes the Chief Operating Officer, Office Managing Partners and the Professional Resources and Development Officer.

Stewart McKelvey has established a Search Committee to promote the position, evaluate responses and conduct interviews with selected candidates. An executive search advertisement is being run in newspapers across Canada and throughout Atlantic Canada. The submission deadline is May 30, 2008.
