Introducing Stewart McKelvey’s Student Recruitment podcast
We are pleased to introduce a weekly, 4-part podcast series for law school students, Get Ready to Shine: Life as a Law Student at Stewart McKelvey. We speak to associates about their experiences with recruitment, what it’s really like to be a summer student at the firm, their year as articled clerks, and life after articles. They share stories, advice and provide a glimpse inside the student experience – all with the goal of demystifying taking this big step.
In the first episode, we talk to associates Cal DeWolfe and Lyndsay Scovil as they talk about their recruitment experiences: their impressions of working at Stewart McKelvey versus the reality, what to expect at recruitment events, how to prepare for interviews and advice for law students starting on this journey. Plus, we go over the important dates you need to know for this year’s application process.
