Lydia Bugden shares with Canadian Lawyer what makes the legal landscape in Atlantic Canada different
In the February 2019 issue of Canadian Lawyer, chief executive officer and managing partner Lydia Bugden is interviewed on what it’s like to practice law in Atlantic Canada, and how the legal market in the region differs from elsewhere in the country. “I think, as a region, we tend to punch above our weight in demonstrating leadership within the profession and the kind of client work we undertake given the difference in the size of markets,” she notes. The size of this community, says Lydia, encourages and promotes a kind of collegiality among lawyers that extends beyond their careers.
