We are currently seeking a Manager, Administrative Services to join our team based in our Saint John office.

Position Summary:

Directs the day-to-day operations of local office including managing staff to ensure the provision of appropriate, consistent, timely and high quality service to the Firm’s clients and legal professionals.  Oversees and/or performs all local administrative tasks.

Candidate Profile:

  •  Ability to lead and manage a team of legal and non-legal professionals;
  •  Ensures all aspects of our offices are planned and functioning effectively to support our business, including planning workspace, furniture, security, insurance, repairs and maintenance, office supplies, etc;
  • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources Management policies, practices, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Orientation, and Recruitment & Selection;
  • High level of interpersonal skills (tact, professionalism, judgment, diplomacy);
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally and written;
  • Excellent organization and time management skills enabling the balance of workloads and the prioritization of requests to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong work ethic and values and respect differences in individuals;
  • Strong Analytical Thinking;
  • Relationship and Team Building Skills;
  • Above average word processing skills, particularly in Microsoft Word;
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours when required;
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role; and,
  • Post-secondary education
