: Brian Tabor, QC elected Fellow of American College of Mortgage Attorneys

Halifax partner Brian Tabor, QC, was recently elected as a Member (Fellow) of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys ("ACMA").

Established in 1974, ACMA is comprised of over 400 lawyers from North America with a focus in the mortgage law industry. ACMA Fellows share a commitment to giving back to their industry area and raising the level of professional responsibility of lawyers practicing in this area.

Fellows must have distinguished themselves through their bar association activities; lecturing; writing articles; drafting legislation or participating in the legislative process; or writing briefs of significant precedent to mortgage transactions. Fellowship in this Association is by nomination only and Brian is the only member from Nova Scotia.

Brian has over 25 years of intimate engagement in the real property regime in Nova Scotia and is the business department manager at Stewart McKelvey.
