: Partner Lisa Gallivan appointed to Canadian Human Rights Tribunal

We are pleased to announce partner Lisa Gallivan has been appointed as a member of the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.

On May 23, the Honourable Peter MacKay, PC, QC, MP, for Central Nova, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, announced Lisa as a part-time member of the Tribunal for a three-year term.

For 18 years, Lisa has built a practice in labour & employment law including HR facilitation and workplace investigations. Lisa is also part owner of Mills department store in Halifax. Lisa has a Bachelor of Commerce, Masters of Business Administration and Bachelors of Laws degrees. She is a director of the Brigadoon's Children's Village and has held positions with Halifax YMCA and Big Brothers, Big Sisters Metro.
