Jon’s practice bridges the gap between law and industry, assisting clients in commercial matters with a focus on construction disputes. He has assisted clients with matters before the New Brunswick Court of Appeal, Court of Queen’s Bench and Provincial Court, as well as the Federal Court of Appeal. Specifically, Jon has:

  • Represented Canadian businesses in private arbitrations before the International Chamber of Commerce;
  • Represented both owners and contractors in multi-million dollar construction litigation;
  • Advised clients navigating P3 infrastructure projects;
  • Litigated commercial tenancy disputes;
  • Defended and prosecuted product liability claims pertaining to both industrial and consumer products;
  • Enforced intellectual property rights, obtaining injunctive and monetary relief;
  • Represented clients in maritime law proceedings, including disputes concerning arrested vessels;
  • Advanced the interests of executors and beneficiaries in contentious estate litigation; and
  • Represented a mutual defence association in a precedent setting case regarding its liability to the public.
