Dan maintains a general corporate commercial practice and has particular experience in banking and commercial real estate law. He works with clients at all stages of the business cycle and in a broad range of sectors and industries including real estate, financial services, agriculture, manufacturing, food and beverage, transportation and logistics, and natural resources, among others.

His corporate commercial work encompasses a wide range of transactions including share and asset deals, reorganizations and other corporate proceedings, drafting shareholder and partnership agreements, and providing targeted advice with respect to clients’ ongoing business matters.

In his banking practice, Dan acts for both lenders and borrowers drafting and negotiating loan and security documents for bilateral and syndicated facilities in a wide variety of contexts. His experience includes operating loans, acquisition finance, real property secured loans including construction facilities, equipment finance, margin and derivative trading facilities (ISDAs), and subordinated debt.

Dan’s real property experience includes commercial leasing acting for landlords, tenants and developers, and advising on purchases and sales of all categories of commercial real estate. His real estate transaction work includes advising clients on all deal stages including corporate structuring appropriate to the transaction, drafting and negotiating letters of intent and purchase and sale agreements, overseeing title and off-title due diligence review, and all other steps through to closing.
