Client Update: Requirement to register as a lobbyist in New Brunswick – update
Further to our Client Update on June 15 titled, “Requirement to register as a lobbyist in New Brunswick”, the deadline for initial registration under the Lobbyists’ Registration Act of New Brunswick has been extended from July 1, 2017 to October 1, 2017.
In a press release issued today, the Integrity Commissioner Alexandre Deschênes announced that he was extending the deadline in order to make improvements to the lobby registry system “to allow for easier access for lobbyists and be more meaningful for public inspection”.
