Chantal Thibodeau receives Queen’s Counsel designation
Moncton partner Chantal Thibodeau is among the 10 lawyers from New Brunswick who have been appointed Queen’s Counsel, as announced by Lieutenant Governor Jocelyne Roy Vienneau. Individuals who receive this designation demonstrate outstanding professional integrity, and have made great contributions to both the practice of law and the community.
Called to the New Brunswick bar in 1999, Chantal provides her clients with advice that focuses on achieving the best possible result in the most cost-effective and efficient manner. She works with a range of clients, from municipalities to insurers, as well as professionals including other lawyers, engineers and architects. Chantal is the Firm’s life and disability practice group leader and is also a member of the Stewart McKelvey diversity and inclusion committee. She is the current vice-chair of the Law Society of New Brunswick complaints committee, and is also the past chair of the examining committee, as well as a past member of the bar review committee. Best Lawyers has recognized Chantal as a leader in such areas as insurance law, legal malpractice law and personal injury litigation.
