Charlottetown firm lawyers help those in need during Wills Clinic
The Canadian Bar Association Young Lawyers section and Pro Bono Committee are holding a “Wills Clinic” this week in Prince Edward Island (“P.E.I.”), as part of the various events happening around the theme “Access to Justice” for Law Day 2016, April 14.
Patti Wheatley, Chair of the Pro Bono Committee in P.E.I. and an organizer of the event, will be joined by her colleagues Donald Cameron, Jonah Clements, Margaret Anne Walsh, Scott Barry, Gary Demeulenaere, Stephen Carpenter, CHRP and Jennifer MacPherson preparing wills for low-income individuals on the island, who applied through the Community Legal Information Association.
