Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner, Lydia Bugden, K.C. appointed to the Board of Directors of Ovarian Cancer Canada
Congratulations to our Chief Executive Officer & Managing Partner, Lydia Bugden, K.C., on her recent appointment to the Board of Directors of Ovarian Cancer Canada.
Lydia shares her energy and leadership in the advancement of many organizations and foundations across our region. She has long championed the work of Ovarian Cancer Canada, and Stewart McKelvey is proud to be an ongoing supporter of many Ovarian Cancer Canada events. As the first female CEO of an Atlantic Canadian law firm, Lydia’s career has placed a special emphasis on supporting women in the legal profession, while demonstrating first-hand the importance of supporting communities for regional growth and prosperity.
Ovarian Cancer Canada champions the health and wellbeing of women with ovarian cancer, and those at risk of the disease, by providing strong leadership in research, advocacy and support. Though the 2022 Walk of Hope alone – of which we are a proud regional sponsor – the organization raised $1.4 million nationally to support research and advocacy initiatives.
Congratulations Lydia on this significant appointment.
