Grant Machum appointed vice-chair of Telefilm Canada board of directors
Halifax partner Grant Machum has recently been elected as the Telefilm Canada board of directors vice-chair. This appointment recognizes Grant’s long standing commitment to the sustainability and advancement of the arts in both his community and nationally. As he continues his role as chair of the governance, human resources and search committee of Telefilm Canada, Grant also demonstrates his governance and board stewardship excellence at such organizations as Symphony Nova Scotia and as past chair, and current board member, of Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. This year marks the 50th year of Telefilm Canada, and Grant is honoured to be involved with this organization: “…the Canadian audiovisual industry has matured into a vital sector of activity at home and abroad. I am proud of the work we do to grow and support this industry, both today and in the future.”
