Halifax partner Scott Campbell recognized as a Rising Star by Lexpert®
Last night at a gala dinner and awards presentation in Toronto, partner Scott Campbell received a Lexpert® Rising Star award, celebrating his recognition as a leading lawyer under 40. This award honours excellence in the field of business law and litigation across Canada.
Called to the Ontario bar in 2005 and the Nova Scotia bar in 2008, Scott’s practice includes a focus on appellate litigation and corporate commercial litigation, as well as maritime, transportation, administrative and private international law. He has appeared before all levels of court in Nova Scotia, as well as the Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
In addition to his significant community involvement, Scott is a member of many different legal organizations, including the International Association of Defense Counsel, Canadian Maritime Law Association and the Eastern Admiralty Law Association. Scott is a member of the Gender Equity Committee at the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society, and he also taught Conflict of Laws at the Schulich School of Law (Dalhousie University) for the last four years.
