Jennifer Taylor presents on cyber-bullying, law reform & feminism at upcoming constitutional & human rights law section meeting
Research lawyer Jennifer Taylor will speak at the Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia branch constitutional and human rights law section meeting, Thursday, November 24 beginning at 12:00 p.m. in our Halifax office.
Jennifer will present her paper, Minding the Gap: Why and How Nova Scotia Should Enact a New Cyber-safety Act. This piece, which was recently published in the Canadian Journal of Law and Technology, reviews the decision which struck down the Nova Scotia Cyber-safety Act in December 2015, and explains why new legislation should be created to address online bullying issues in today’s society.
