John Rogers, QC, appointed member of Nova Scotia Health Authority board of directors
Stewart McKelvey chief executive officer John Rogers, QC, joins 11 other professionals from across the province in leading the new Nova Scotia Health Authority.
With a focus on people and outcomes, the board of directors work together to oversee proper governance in the health system and strive to provide Nova Scotians with the best possible healthcare and services.
In July 2014, John was named as a member of the Minister’s Advisory Panel on District Health Authority Consolidation, where he provided input and advice to the Nova Scotia Minister of Health and Wellness on health system consolidation. He also sits on the board of directors for United Way Halifax Region and served as chair of the board of directors at the IWK Health Centre for two years.
