Journalism & the law
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, April 28, Halifax partners Nancy Rubin, QC, and Karen Bennett-Clayton will lead an interactive workshop as part of the Atlantic Journalism Awards’ Workshops event, which Stewart McKelvey is pleased to sponsor.
In this session, Nancy and Karen will discuss such topics as source protection, copyright and the use of social media in reporting, as they explain how to best create a news piece free from legal backlash or consequences.
