Nancy Rubin, QC, to speak at media law conference
Halifax partner Nancy Rubin, QC, will speak at the upcoming Ad IDEM/Canadian Media Lawyers Association annual conference, November 13 and 14 in Toronto.
She will join two other panelists to review Bill C-13 amendments to the Criminal Code, Friday, November 13, beginning at 2:10 p.m. local time. Nancy will then moderate a Saturday morning panel, Copyright – Fair dealing/Fair Use, “Hot news” and other topics, which will discuss when the media’s use of copyrighted material is not “fair”.
