Partner Christa Brothers, QC, to speak at Canadian Defence Lawyers annual symposium
Halifax partner Christa Brothers, QC, will present the session, Reservation of Rights, at the Canadian Defence Lawyers 12th annual Insurance Coverage Symposium, today, February 4 in Toronto, Ontario.
Beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time, Christa will discuss whether to issue a reservation of rights letter, and if so, when. She will also review the circumstances where conflict may require independent counsel be paid by an insurer, as well as insight into emerging and challenging trends in the area of property and casualty insurance law.
