For her Thursday afternoon session, “How to Write the Story Without Getting Sued” Nancy will focus on the defences to defamation claims available to the media and provide top 10 tips. Nancy’s evening keynote panel on Thursday, “#YouKnowHerName” will discuss the important components of Rehtaeh Parson’s case and the publication ban on her name, which Nancy fought to change.
