Paul Festeryga receives Queen’s Counsel designation
Halifax partner Paul Festeryga has been honoured with a Queen’s Counsel appointment, as announced by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General Diana Whalen. Individuals who receive this designation demonstrate outstanding professional integrity, and have made great contributions to both the practice of law and the community.
With 27 years of experience, Paul is sought out for his wide-ranging knowledge of tax, corporate tax, estate planning and litigation, tax litigation and owner-managed business. He counsels a broad range of clients, from small, family-owned businesses to national and multinational enterprises and high net worth families.
Paul has been recognized by Best Lawyers in Canada© as a leader in the field of tax for ten years, and has been named Best Lawyers “Lawyer of the Year” in Halifax for tax law three times, most recently this year. In 2014, he was honoured with a Lexpert Zenith Award for setting a new standard in the legal profession.
