Peter McLellan, QC, chairs organizing committee for Nova Scotia’s first CEO Health & Safety Leadership Charter
Just under 30 of Nova Scotia’s chief executive officers (“CEOs”) signed the province’s first CEO Health and Safety Leadership Charter designed to reduce workplace accidents and make Nova Scotia the safest place to live and work.
“Safety leadership is an essential part of a strong safety culture,” said Kelly Regan, Minister of Labour and Advanced Education. “In developing and signing this Health and Safety Leadership Charter, these 29 CEOs have demonstrated that they are true visionaries committed to creating a better future for workers in this province.”
Additionally, Lisa Gallivan facilitated on-site discussions among signatories to create the action plan for the coming year.
