Rick Dunlop speaking at Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia session on accommodating family status
The Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia is hosting a session today featuring Halifax labour and employment partner Rick Dunlop.
Rick will review the ways in which employment discrimination based on family status (e.g. parent/child relationships, family caregiver responsibilities) can arise, conflicting legal decisions on family status discrimination and required accommodation and steps employers can take to assist in addressing family status issues.
