Robert Dysart, QC, appointed to the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench
The Honourable David Lametti, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, announced this afternoon that Moncton partner Robert Dysart, QC, has been appointed to be a justice of the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench.
Rob was called to the New Brunswick bar in 1997, and has grown to become a leading practitioner in the areas of health law, medical malpractice defence and professional discipline matters, acting as lead counsel for the Canadian Medical Protective Association and its members throughout New Brunswick. He has also acted for auto and CGL insurers, as well as manufacturers and municipalities in respect of tort and contract/commercial matters before the courts. He has been consistently cited as a best lawyer in the area of insurance, medical negligence, and health care law. In addition, Rob has been noted on various external listings of best and leading lawyers in his practice areas.
