Sara Scott, P.Eng., first female Atlantic Canadian lawyer to be admitted as Insolvency Institute of Canada member
Halifax partner Sara Scott, P.Eng., is one of 10 people who have joined the Insolvency Institute of Canada (“IIC”) membership this year. Sara is the first female lawyer from Atlantic Canada to be admitted, and joins Firm lawyers Maurice Chiasson, QC and Robert MacKeigan, QC in this organization, which aims to improve and strengthen the insolvency process, as well as enhance the quality and reputation of this practice area in Canada. IIC membership is by invitation only, and focuses on gathering together leaders in the insolvency community throughout the country.
