Scott Campbell provides practical tips for lawyers at Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia branch joint section meeting
Halifax partner Scott Campbell will speak at the upcoming Canadian Bar Association Nova Scotia branch joint Young Lawyers and Charities and Not-For-Profit law section meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, January 18 at 12 noon.
Scott will co-present a session that will provide practical tips for lawyers who sit on not-for-profit boards, including how to avoid conflicts and manage risk. He will speak to how directors can fulfill their duties of chairing meetings, taking minutes and drafting policies, while also staying involved in the community and advancing the mission of a not-for-profit.
