Stewart McKelvey announces COVID-19 vaccination policy

The health and safety of our people, clients and community remains paramount at Stewart McKelvey. Throughout the pandemic, we have followed the guidance of Public Health, and have implemented protocols in all of our offices to prevent COVID-19 infection and spread.

As a Firm, we continue to do our part to care for each other, and to do what we can to avert or ease the strain on our health care systems. This includes following provincial public health guidelines, asking those working in the office to get tested regularly, and communicating information released by the provincial health authorities on the importance, and availability, of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In addition to these measures, and effective immediately, Stewart McKelvey has implemented a vaccination policy requiring all members of the Firm, who are not exempt on medical or other human rights grounds, to be fully vaccinated as a condition of working in any of our offices.

In line with other businesses and venues throughout Atlantic Canada, we require the same of our clients, suppliers and other visitors when coming to our offices. Updated signage will be placed in our entry areas advising of the requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If this is not possible, kindly let us know in advance of your arrival by contacting your lawyer or our main line, and we will make alternative arrangements that ensure the comfort and safety of all involved.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to our employees, clients, suppliers and friends for doing your part to ensure the health and safety of one another, and our communities.
