The Honourable J. Michael MacDonald joins Stewart McKelvey as Counsel
We are pleased to welcome the Honourable J. Michael MacDonald as Counsel following his retirement from a distinguished career on the Bench of Nova Scotia Courts including as the 22nd Chief Justice of Nova Scotia. In addition to his role as Chief Justice, he has long been a supporter of the legal community, chairing several Canadian Judicial Council committees, leading the creation of the Nova Scotia Access to Justice Coordinating Committee, promoting several judicial outreach initiatives to engage the Indigenous and African Nova Scotian communities, and volunteering with Phoenix Youth to host justice day camps for youths from racialized communities.
We are proud he will now lend his wisdom and counsel to Stewart McKelvey and our clients.
