Three Halifax lawyers join Stewart McKelvey
Stewart McKelvey Halifax welcomes Richard Jordan, Christine Nault and Peter Eirikson to our office.
Richard, a research lawyer, will focus on employment law, labour relations, workers’ compensation and occupational health and safety. Before joining the firm, he clerked for the judges of the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal and worked as Counsel in the Office of the Chief Justice of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, where he provided legal and policy advice to the Chief Justice and the Council of Regional Senior Judges.
Practising insurance defence, associate Christine provides her clients with the highest quality of service possible. She has represented national insurers at all levels of court in Nova Scotia, including Small Claims and the Court of Appeal and has worked as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada, under the Honourable Justice Thomas A. Cromwell.
Called to the British Columbia bar in 2014, Peter, associate, will practice in the areas of banking, corporate finance and corporate and commercial law. He has helped both Canadian and international financial institutions, as well as corporate clients of all sizes, both independently and as part of a team, with matters such as asset-based lending transactions, cross-border transactions and project financings.
