Jim Dickson, QC, P.Eng, elected to Empire Company Limited’s board of directors
Rob Dexter, Chair, Empire Limited Company has announced the election of Jim Dickson to the Board of Directors of Empire Company Limited (TSX: EMP.A). Jim has been a key member of Stewart McKelvey’s team providing services for Empire Company Limited for many years, and in his new role will continue to provide strategic leadership to the company.
Empire Company Limited is a Canadian company headquartered in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. Empire’s key businesses are food retailing and related real estate. With approximately $24.0 billion in annualized sales and $11.6 billion in assets, Empire and its subsidiaries, franchises and affiliates employ approximately 125,000 people.
