Halifax-based partners Rob Aske and Daniela Bassan will be speaking at the Artists’ Legal Information Society conference, On the Edge of Now: Emerging Trends in Entertainment, Digital and IP Law, beginning Friday, February 27 at Dalhousie University Schulich School of Law.
Saturday, February 28 beginning at 2:00 p.m., Rob will be presenting a session with 4th Monkey Media president Kirsten Tomilson on making the switch from producing film and television, to entering the video game world in Virtual Reality: Tips and traps for video game licensing and publishing contracts.
Daniela will be speaking with music lawyer Paul Sanderson in the session Top 10 Licensing Tips for Music Owners, Saturday, February 28 at 3:15 p.m. This presentation will provide insight into music licensing agreements and review current trends and practices in this field.
