Close to 100 Stewart McKelvey lawyers recognized as Best Lawyers in Canada© 2017, a quarter of which have been named “Lawyer of the Year”

Best Lawyers in Canada© 2017 has recognized 91 lawyers from Stewart McKelvey, representing 44 areas of practice, as leaders in their fields, 24 of which have also been named a Best Lawyers® 2017 “Lawyer of the Year”. Due to the high number of individuals recognized, Stewart McKelvey has also been awarded a “top listed” designation by Best Lawyers.

Best Lawyers is the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. Inclusion in Best Lawyers is based entirely on peer-review and allows leading lawyers to share their opinion about the professional abilities of their colleagues within the same geographical and legal practice area. The “Lawyer of the Year” designation is given to the lawyer in each practice and metropolitan area with the highest overall peer-feedback. And “top listed” designations are given to firms with the most listed lawyers in a specific location and practice area.
